Through ideation and research, I explored ways of informing individuals of possible eyesight damage from UV Light. When considering environmental and digital elements, in the coming years, vision loss and eye disorders may increase in numbers if proper practices aren’t known. This brought me to the realization, education is a larger, political issue.

The Green New Deal was a proposed collection of legislation that aims to address and counteract climate change and environmental discrimination. Through GND, my initial interest was altered to focus more on raising awareness and possible funding for research to counteract the increasing victims of eyesight disorders. By doing so, I hope to encourage legislation that funds environmental protection, promotes discipline with digital environments, and the use of sunglasses.
