This idea stemmed from my meeting with an esthetician through video chat and realizing that a lot of problems can be noted through video. Creating a system around my skin maintenance was the first step in my research and data collection. Through data visualization, I wanted to focus on highlighting immediate needs, the future state of the skin barrier, and tracking overall progress from sign-on. Minimizing toggling, allowing customizable data sets, and deprioritizing the video feature to help users resist the urge to dwell on the present.
